The drive along the fjord of Eyjafjörður provides us with a splendid view of Akureyri the capital of the north.
On our way to Goðafoss waterfall we travel through the valley of Fnjóskadalur with its meandering river. Goðafoss is the first stop on our way to Lake Mývatn. Not only is Goðafoss a beautiful waterfall, but it has also played an important role in the history of the country, particularly in connection with the introduction of Cristianity. From this scenic wathefall the road takes us to Skútustaðir which is the first site we visit by Lake Mývatn. Intriguing pseudo-craters abound in this area. At midday we head for Húsavík by schedule bus, a charming coastal village rightly called the whale-watching capital of Iceland. We'll set out to sea with our seasoned guides, who maintain an incredible 98,5% success rate for sighting various species of whales, including dolphins and porpoises.

Come join us for a wonderful day.

Att: Whale watching is  included.
